"I not only love the English countryside, I have a deep fondness for Tudor-style homes. During the Tudor revival style that swept the US in the 1920s and 1930s, my beloved grandparents hand-built their own small English cottage that was the place of my best childhood memories. This Tudor mural was originally painted for a grander home of the same period, in a historic neighborhood near Boston. It is full of warm, rich tones that harmonize with dark woods and wrought iron.
