Regency Revisited
Heritage Fabrics
Known for her softly colored landscape wallpapers, Susan Harter will launch her first collection of textiles “Regency Revisited” at High Point in October.
Muralist Susan Harter and weaver Terry Reitz, her dear friend, dreamt up their new fabric collaboration Regency Revisited to create custom wovens that coordinate beautifully with Susan’s murals.
The soft, intricate colors of the textiles take their cue from Susan’s subtle, complex mural palettes. We can also design custom-colored textiles, choosing from a palette of 112 colors.
Our fabrics use all-natural fibers such as cotton, linen, mohair, alpaca, and silk. These heritage fabrics are suitable for curtains or upholstery, reversible, and have wonderful dimensional drape.
Inspired by the early Regency period, Susan and Terry asked “what would Jane Austen wear?” They created heritage patterns suitable for modern interiors, woven to last “until your grandchildren have grandchildren.”

Harter’s love of nature and country walks is reflected in her misty, classical mural landscapes. One designer described them as “like the works of Constable, seen through a scrim.”
Our murals are printed in Susan’s own studios, either in Port Townsend, WA or Devon, UK. We serve clients in the US, UK, EU, Canada, and beyond.
We print upon fine art archival canvas, which captures the luminous quality of the original hand-painted artwork. With the included varnish, the mural colors last for up to 100 years.
The murals come in 15 stock height options, or tailored runs for complex spaces, even as intricate as three-story stairwells. Our murals can fill entire rooms with non-repeating scenery.
